Need a second set of eyes on a story or essay? Feeling stuck? I offer editorial services for writers who want clear, constructive feedback. As former prose editor for Chestnut Review, I’ve worked with writers of various levels, and know how a few helpful suggestions can unlock a story.

How it works:

  1. Send me an email. We’ll set up timing and payment. If you want me to pay attention to anything specific, let me know.

  2. Get feedback. Within 30 days, I’ll send you an annotated version of your draft with an editorial letter full of questions and prompts to inspire your next move.

  3. Chat it out. For an optional fee, we can meet on Zoom to address any lingering questions you may have.

  • I edit fiction and nonfiction under 10K words. Open to literary work including flash, short stories, and essays. I’m not the best fit for academic or technical writing.

  • My current rate is $75/hr. A typical short story will take me one hour. Based on your work, I will give a more tailored estimate before any editing begins.
